WebHaste is a free, browser-based website management tool (CMS) for browsers. It was built for use by our clients, but we're proud of it and want to share it with the anyone who manages websites.

What kinds of sites are a good fit?

  • Small- to medium-sized websites that are primarily informational in nature
  • Sites that can rely on embeds/iframes for things like contact forms, email signups, etc.
  • Infrequently updated blogs
  • Sites that you want to manage in collaboration with an AI agent

Not really built for:

  • Sites with lots of database information or specific technical needs
  • Sites that require logins or have server-side user customization
  • Shopping carts or E-commerce
  • Sites that require JS front-end frameworks (Vue.js, React)

How does it work?

WebHaste runs entirely in your Chromium web browser and has a robust templating engine that generates static HTML pages that can be hosted practically anywhere. WebHaste also has built-in deployment tools for free hosting services Cloudflare Pages and Netlify Pages.

It's also got pre-baked content blocks that utilize the popular Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS frameworks.

In addition to being a capable CMS for users, WebHaste is built for AI collaboration. It includes agent instructions and resources that empowers your AI tools to build and edit templates and page content.
